Damaged glass repairs – changes effective from July 1st, 2017Dear clients:As of July 1st, 2017 the process of ordering repairs of damaged glass of your vehicles is changing. If a glass on your vehicle becomes damaged and requires repairs and if you are insured for this situation by ALD, report the damage to the insurance department using the insurance event report FORM. The corresponding repair is subject to approval by ALD and can be conducted only by a preferred contractor. Should you order the repair in some other manner, the repair shop cannot obtain the necessary approval to conduct the repair.
Once you report the event, the information about the needed repair is submitted to the Call Center of the contractor, which will contact you (provided you are an ALD client) within one working day and discuss with you the corresponding repair date, time and location based on your requirements. Most repairs are conducted in a mobile manner, thus preventing the need to drive the vehicle with the reported damage. Please be aware that the repair will take approximately 2-3 hours.The preferred glass repair contractor guarantees the following
Glass quality – exclusively glasses made by manufacturers that make glass for the original vehicles;Significantly shorter order times - 90% of the orders are dealt with within 24 hours after being reported;Mobile service at a location chosen by the client;Professionality – exclusive specialization in vehicle glasses;Modern chemistry (glues) – you can safely leave the given repair location already 60 minutes after the repair completion;Ability to fully address the needs of vehicles equipped with camera systems installed behind the windshield.
Vehicle repairs conducted prior to the given contract Please observe the below stated procedure during the several month before the contract expiry (you will also receive a letter that will include this procedure). If your vehicle incurs a damage that requires repair and if you are insured for this situation by ALD, report the damage to the insurance department using the appropriate form, which you can find at: https://pojisteni.aldautomotive.cz/. The corresponding repair, provided it is needed, is subject to approval by ALD. Should you order the repair in some other manner, the repair shop cannot obtain the necessary approval to conduct the repair. Should the given damage prevent your vehicle from being driven, contact ALD Assistance (+420 848 455 555) and, at the same time, report the damage in the above described manner.
